Chef's Table at Kaloura's

Our Chef's Table offers a bespoke, private dining experience tucked away in a quiet corner of Wadebridge. Seated together at a fabulous oak table, with friends old and new, our guests are part of the cooking experience and can interact with us as they watch every step of the process.


Our menu varies to reflect the changing seasons and the fresh produce that is available at different times of the year, as we bring you a year round celebration of the tastes of Cornwall. We operate a Bring Your Own drinks policy, where we are happy to recommend wine pairings if required.

 

The Chef’s Table concept was created by chefs who would entertain friends and family in their restaurant kitchens as they worked. This has now evolved into a fine dining experience that allows guests to observe the ‘behind the scenes’ hustle and bustle of a professional kitchen whilst enjoying the comfort and luxury of a unique and intimate dining space.

 

Our Chef's Table is available for private bookings so if you have a date in mind please get in touch! We can seat up to 12 guests, either as a whole group or as individual bookings, and each month our Chef's Table dates & menu will be advertised here. â€‹

What to expect at our chef's table

Our Chef’s Table evenings include a multiple course tasting menu crafted from the best fresh seasonal ingredients that Cornwall has to offer, including homegrown fruit & vegetables from our garden in Padstow. Menu planning starts weeks in advance alongside the creation of homemade vinegars, lacto ferments, preserved produce and charcuterie.

This is a unique immersive experience where you can see, hear and feel kitchen life, interacting with with us as we create and serve your meal. Watching everything as it is prepared and cooked will give you a unique insight into our culinary process and we welcome your questions throughout the event. Or if you prefer, just sit back and enjoy the food and company.
